Jasmin and Emy want to climb over the fence into my backyard. I assure you, that coming through the gate is perfectly okay by me.
Marie thinks they "match a significant portion of my stash". Ya think?! How much of an obsessive fiber person am I? I did think about using the berries to dye some yarn, but then I thought about how much less work it is to just eat the berries as is! And then I realized that I currently do not have any yarn that needs to be dyed or overdyed, so I just enjoyed the berries. I'll have to go out again on Thursday and pick some more.
Here's some more pictures for you:
One reason why it won't be done is that I thought that I could whip out a couple more baby blankets before school is over. Silly me! Still, granny square blankets using a 6.5 mm hook (size K) and go pretty fast. The yarn is Jo-Ann's Sensations Rainbow boucle in reds and an occasional round of blue. It's kind of hard to see, but there is some variation in the reds, from a bright vibrant red to a deep burgundy color.
