Yup, The Dork is making brownies. He requested them for a club meeting tomorrow and was told that if he wanted them, he had to make them.It smells really good in here right now!
(He wants to learn to cook more. Chalk it up to his dad's influence!)

Isn't it great when they cook? When mine was about 16 (and I was newly single so it was just the two of us) I told him that he was responsible for getting dinner on the table each Wednesday. It didn't have to be fancy, but he had to produce it. I figured it was a good way to help him be prepared for life on his own. He did a decent job! Cooking isn't the end all for him, but he is now comfortable in the kitchen and doesn't live off mixes. Yay!

My daughter's got a raspberries and choc chip cake in the kitchen I'm trying not to eat too much of.
