Isn't it great when they cook? When mine was about 16 (and I was newly single so it was just the two of us) I told him that he was responsible for getting dinner on the table each Wednesday. It didn't have to be fancy, but he had to produce it. I figured it was a good way to help him be prepared for life on his own. He did a decent job! Cooking isn't the end all for him, but he is now comfortable in the kitchen and doesn't live off mixes. Yay!

My daughter's got a raspberries and choc chip cake in the kitchen I'm trying not to eat too much of.
